Crumbren by Oloren
Free cookie checker

See which crumbs your website leaves behind.

Crumbren opens your page in a real browser as a first-time visitor and lists the cookies set on the device before consent: by name, provider, category and expiry. No sign-up, about 30 seconds.

We only check public pages. The result is kept for no longer than 15 minutes.

What we check

Every cookie that appears before the choice.

1

Every cookie, by name

The cookies actually created in the browser, first party and third party alike.

2

Provider and category

We recognise who owns the cookie, for example Google, Meta or TikTok, and whether it is necessary, statistics or marketing.

3

What should not be there yet

Statistics and marketing cookies that appeared before the visitor decided are marked in red.

Why it matters

Before consent, only necessary cookies.

Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, statistics and marketing cookies may only be placed after the visitor has consented. Anything that appears earlier is data collection without consent, and in an audit you are the one who has to explain it.

Cookieren by Oloren

Found some? Cookieren stops them.

Cookieren is the cookie banner by Oloren: it lets statistics and marketing code run only after consent and logs every decision. Free for small websites.

Signaren shows what your website tells Google about consent.

Do you store the address I check?

The result is kept for 15 minutes so the same address does not have to be checked again, then it is deleted. We only check publicly available pages.

Why does it check only one page?

The checker looks at the first load of one page, as a visitor from the EU. Cookieren’s scanner checks the whole website regularly.

Who made it?

Oloren, the maker of the Cookieren cookie banner.
